Bradley_So I know you were recently at a tradeshow in Vegas. How was that?
Darren_I was in the fucking land of make believe. A dude like me coming from the streets I come from don't get a chance to chill with Paris Hilton and Rod Stewarts daughter. That's a fucking fairy tale but it happen thanks to Travis (Barker that is). Will somebody wake me up please?? Just three years ago I was slangin cocaine in my hood not even thinking about skateboarding. God is good!
Bradley_With all the airport troubles recently, did you have any trouble getting on the plane?
Darren_Man I always have a problem at the airport so I'm used to it. They always talking about you where randomly selected for a thorough screening. Ok this guy looks like a rapper who could have a bomb in his sneaker. ( Mc Blow up!) Anyways, as long as I make it to my destination I'm fine.
Bradley_What's up with you in the studio booth?
Darren_Man I just like puttin words together. I aint trying to be no rapper. I'm a hustler. I just like to showcase that I'm a perfectionist. Beat Cocaine** is a track which I made the beat, I did the hook, and I rap last so hate it or love it.
Bradley_So I know you are shinnin right now...with the jewlrey and your skating. Who do you think is next up to the plate to represent DC?
Darren_Juicy James BKA Lil' James and Daniel Son BKA Mr. Meyahgee.
Bradley_Everybody knows that Element made some sketchy moves with the team. What the hell happened??
Darren_Fuck element and what they stand for. We ended on a good note though but I still feel like I feel cause I'm a real nigga and I don't like rappers..
Bradley_How's your Get Familiar part going?
Darren_All I have to say is every video part should be a step up from ur last one. With that being said Get Familiar dvd comin this fall cop that.
Bradley_Any advice to the youngins out there that are trying to accomplish what you are doing right now?
Darren_If you come from the hood like me don't let no one stand in your way just be cool , stay fly, stay focused, and grind because when you work hard there is always a pay off.
Bradley_What are your plans after your new video part drops?
Darren_Prepair to step my game up another notch. It's all about the grind.
