THE WORKING MAN I call Angelo Lee the working man. We are currently working on the shop video project and this dude is putting in work.. He works an overnight job and then comes straight downtown to skate without sleeping. This weekend he didn't sleep for 48 hours and still ripped. ALLEN FROM VB Been a little while since the last post. Here is a couple clips from Shawn Owens homie Allen Froman from VB. Dude rips...I'm sure you have noticed stuff of him on the blog already. Also got an email the other day from Jason Olivia. He sent me a link to his BLOG which is pretty dope. PARISIEN W/ SOY PANDY Seems like the suggestion box on the contact page is working pretty good. I recently got hit up by Sylvain Robineau which is a filmer overseas. He hooked up this clip called PARISIEN which he says, "Represents the beauty of Paris and the street skating of a Parisian skater." The clip features Soy Pandy which is also featured in Static 3. MUMBO SNIPPETS Yesterday a few of us linked up and roamed threw Southeast and found a pretty good spot. Towards the end of the session a bunch of kids started climbing the fence caused a ruckus. The session ended with a backflip contest with some random kid and Angelo. -Bradley

PRESENT FROM OWENS Got a suprising package today from no other than Shawn Owens. He told me in advance like it was to be something good.. Anyways, if you click the image above you can see a bigger image which shows his gift of a lottery ticket, a straw from Arby's, backs to stickers, piece of gum, an empty CD case with ghetto wrapping, and then some footage for the Focus video 'Rise & Shine'. Thanks Shawn! At the same time I was about to log footage. Previously I threw some laundry in the wash and as I went to grab the tape I realized it was in the WASHER!! DC IN NEW THPS!
Not really sure if it was a good idea but DC is featured in the new Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game. In there you can skate Pulaski, Art Gallery, The Capitol, and even inside the Air and Space Museum. Pretty crazy if you ask me. To view screen shots of the game click HERE! -Bradley

OK, so things have been getting hectic but I finally made a little update from my recent trip to New York. Don't forget about Pitcrew's LORD OF THE LINES contest this Saturday. Lots of teams from local shops will be competing in this contest. On the flyer there are no prizes but Tim at Pitcrew leaked a few to me. First prize is looking at years worth of Matix flow and a 80gb Ipod. Second place gets a Matix box and an apple gift card and the same for 3rd. On other topics.. Zach Lyons just got back from the Kayo Canada Tour and some weird shit went down. Supposingly, Adelmo Jr. is one of the guys that will be featured in "Zach Lyons Is A Dick Pt. 4"!! Super dope Flash Back with Paul McElory supplied by no other than Keir..In other news, Jimmy Pelletier and KJ are skating almost 50 miles through blazing summer heat next Saturday on behalf of Multiple Sclerosis. One of the most elusive figures from Pulaski's golden years has been spotted down at the fort lately, thats right Randy Corey got himself a new complete and is running, plus 5 pushes to a ledge near you. Here's a quick CLIP of Randy's first time back on a board in quite some time. Randy was one of Sheffey and Tucci's old skate comrades. I'm guessing everybody is stuck in the snow today. On March 10th there is another Skate In the Center EVENT. Should be pretty dope. I'm sure I'll see you there. Just so you guys know, the new Commonwealth store is now open over on Florida Ave right by Adams Morgan. So if you are in the area, make your way over there and get fresh. There is also a grand opening party on the 8th of February at Fur Nightclub. -Bradley

If you guys read this(if it's still thursday) and haven't seen it yet, get up and take a trip to the metro to pick up the City Paper to see the Darren Harper article. For people that didn't pick it up I will probably scan it in and put it on the site. Also don't forget about the Skate In the Center event this Saturday. TFC IS BACK! Hope you guys like the new site and all. I haven't tested the site on a PC yet, but hopefully it all works. TFC's New Year's resolution is to have maximum updates! Expect to see blogs from Keir and Allen(which is on a cross country trip right now). Anyways..the first event of the year is the Skate In the Center fund raiser. Should be pretty fun.
